half가 여태까지 내가 알던 하프가 아니라 해프 (hæf)였다.
당연히 발음을 모르니 half를 have로 들을 수밖에...
마지막 문장은 그나마 책에서 본 기억을 되살려서 half라고 받아 쓰긴 했는데...
내가 발음하고 말할 수 있는 게 들린다고, 정말 아는 만큼만 들린다.
